Music
Music is very important in Peru. The younger generation(kids + teenagers) actually listen to international music. This type of music is actually spread out all over Peru, and also Traditional music is very popular around this country. Well every song is about something in particular and most of the Traditional songs are about:
- Peru
- Peruvian Culture
- Some people´s feeling and emotions
- Animals
- The Charango : a small guitar if sorts
- 2 flutes placed and tied together
- Quena : it is similar to a recorder
Dance
Well in Peru there are many styles of dancing. There are these two dance that are up from the mountains. One of those dances is called " Baile de las Tijeras" ( Dance of the scissors), and the other dance from the mountains is called "Huayno". Most of the cities in have their own dances, usually danced in the city. There is also an Athletic Dance, the " Zamacuecua", which is played a traditional drum called the " Cajón".
Textiles ( clothing, blankets, rugs ,etc.)
There are many Textiles in Peru. Textiles are usually made from animal wool and in Peru, the Textiles are made From Alpaca wool. The clothing made there, is made from thick wool and maybe also decorative art. Some art, well, most art, is made from wool. And also hangings are made from wool too.
